For this year's first chapter of learning, I have learned many lessons and I have opened many closed doors. I learned and discovered where the internet came from, who are the people responsible for it, and the time when it began existing. I also learned further how to use different programs in the internet and I have also learned to love it. But most of all, I've learned how to use the Blogger. I was never interested of making an account with these kind of websites. But now I can get benefits from here that I can use at school.
There are certain problems I encountered. During the time that I am learning how to use the Blogger, I did not knew how to edit my posts and delete my dummy blogs.
I addressed these problems by spending more time with the website and studying its features.
Moving on, I will create my personal account where I can share my feelings, socialize and learn more.

A Year's Harvest: 2 Thumbs Up for Pnoy!
Through the years of the different administrations of the Republic of the Philippines, many programs were conducted, many laws were established, and many changes were made. In short, there is progress. Every year, presidents from different countries addresses their people with their accomplishments. In the Philippines, the SONA of the president is given more attention. Schools assign their students to make a self study about it. This year, it is the second time of the new president to delivers his words.
As a student and a Filipino citizen, I can say that the president did well this year. I really appreciate his work because compared to our work as children and students, his work is absolutely more difficult. If you can just imagine how 1 gut can face the problem of about 100 million people.
The administration did great! There are big improvements when its comes to the Economy, Tourism, Agriculture, Education, Environment, Crime and most of all, the Government. Many programs are also established like the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program which give benefits and services to indigent Filipino families. Certain improvements were also done with the health programs and jobs/ services. In there, they implemented benefits which gave access to PhilHealth 23 million more Filipinos. The unemployment rate also decreased causing the increase for sure of the employment rate. For our energy sector, the allocated more than 1 billion pesos to light up 1,500 sitios. The terrifying fight against ARMM and Mindanao was also stopped since peace was made. Projects were also made for the Disaster Risk Reduction and Management. Ongoing projects were also established for the government workers' assurance, improved tax collection, doing business in the Philippines and many more.
At the last part of the President's SONA, he mentioned " With every step on the straight and righteous path, we plant the seeds of change." All he mean is that Filipinos are moving forward.
This year's State of the Nation Address is the first one that I have studied well since birth. I found out that there is a good fruit in every sacrifice. Two thumbs up for Pnoy!!!

Vegetables: Teammates for Nourishment
Eating vegetables everyday give us proper nutrition, strength, and a
healthy lifestyle. Eating vegetables prevents us from suffering horrible
sicknesses, it also gives us a healthier mind, a more slender body, and a
wealthier pocket. Yet vegetables are cheap, but they are the most precious
above all when its comes to nourishment. There we can find minerals, potassium,
calcium, iron, protein, retinol that improves our sense of sight, and thiamine
that makes our resistance stronger.
As a student, I can see a little problem why some people don't like to
eat vegetables. For me, it is because it does not taste really good like the
other foods. So, some people would prefer eating junk foods, and lots and lots
of meat, which is very dangerous to our health. People should know the value of
eating vegetables than eating junk. I see many reasons why to turn to
vegetables but I can't get to the point why some people chooses junk,
considering the fact that it is cheap, easy to prepare, safe for the body, and
very nutritious. This should be an alarm for the Department of Health. They
should convince people to eat vegetables more frequently rather than foods
which are not nutritious enough and can be a waste in our body.
We should eat vegetables, it nourishes our body, it makes us richer, and
it expand the span of our lives.
Letter to the President
Dear Mr. President,
Greetings!
It is a great privilege for a senior student like me to have this
opportunity to write you a letter. Well, it has quite been a long time when you
were elected as the president of the Philippines. For the two years that you've
been a servant of the people, I can say that you really did a good job and I
salute you for that. Even though many are complaining about your service, my
impression for you did not really changed at all because your duty is not easy.
Imagine, only one versus more than 90,000,000 people. If you can only share
with me the stress you're feeling right now.
I am very thankful that you have many projects in our place. The construction
and repair of public highways, scholarships, feeding programs, and many more.
Your projects would really help a lot. Even though if we view your help in a
higher position and we can see it small, it is not at all in our hearts.
But aside from my praises, I have still questions unanswered. Why is it
that in the scholarships here at our place, there are beneficiaries from
private schools? Isn't it that scholarships are only for the poor who are
deserving? For example if a person receives a scholarship and that person
studies at a private school, why wouldn't the authorized people transfer that
person to a public school? Another slot for scholarship will be vacant if
that's the case. Also the construction and replacement of public highways, why
is it that the men at work always sleep at times that they should be working?
Motorists would be very affected from that situation. Completion for the
project will be postponed and postponed. I am not angry, I'm not mad for this
instance but why?
Well, this is all I can say for now. Thank you very much for reading
this letter of mine and I hope that solutions will be made. Thank you Mr.
President!
Respectfully yours,
Christer Fetalvero
