Christmas is one of the most awaited days in the year. It is the day of birth of Jesus, who saves us all from harm. And that symbolizes his love for the people. He sacrificed his life only for us to continue living. So, this means that the meaning of Christmas is Love.
When we were still children, we were used to look for gifts. Some are not happy when they have no gift, and the ones having plenty, they are happy sky high. But didn't we realize that the gift that Jesus gave to us is the gift of Love? He had no pleasure at all. All he gave is have every person can gave to each other. He served a a role model.
It is a fact that many would say that the essence of Christmas is the giving of gifts. Well, it can be. Giving of gifts is sharing. But my fellows, giving a gift is not necessary if we cannot. What is important is to give our warmest love to the people we really love. People will say that your Christmas celebration is not that meaningful. Why? Because there are no gifts? Because you share a simple food? They have no strong basis at all. What rich people do not have that poor people have is the close family ties.
Take note, the food, the gifts, and etc are not that important, what is important is that you together with your loved ones are together, loving each other. God will tell then that you have a great Christmas celebration.
